1) Content is king in today's online marketing efforts
2) Content needs to be fresh; content needs to be in-depth; and, content needs to be relevant.
3) Health and medical websites must find a balance between being technical and scientific, and being familiar and conversational. In the past, we have shied away from the latter, afraid to sound folksy or unprofessional. It's time for health care practitioners to come down from their ivory towers, or pedestals, or whatever you want to call it, and start speaking to us, the consumers, as individuals.
